Theresa Strike Presents at NMTIE Conference
Theresa Strike presented at the New Mexico Technology in Education Conference in October. She explored some of the legal aspects for educators concerning use of social networking, such as Facebook, Ning, and Linked In, including a discussion of some of the cases where schools and students have clashed over the use of social networking, the option of working with a site’s reporting system, and the importance of creating a policy and communicating it to the students.
