Research Lectures

The law librarians routinely lecture and teach in the Law School. In addition to teaching Advanced Legal Research, Indian Law Research, Natural Resources Research, and International Legal Research in the Law School, the librarians guest lecture in Law School classes upon request. The librarians provide more than 75 presentations, tours, and research lectures to more than 1,000 attendees in an average year.

The librarians are available to guest lecture on specialized research topics or demonstrate electronic resources to Law students. These lectures have proved helpful, especially for students in an Upper Level Writing requirement class who may not yet have taken Advanced Legal Research. Library tours of specialized materials may also be scheduled.

To request this service, use the web-based Request Form, contact Michelle Rigual, phone the Reference Desk at 277-0935, or stop by the Library in person.
