Law Librarian, Assistant Professor of Law Librarianship

Marcia works in the Collections Department of the Law Library. She is responsible for assessment and tracking of the Library's print serials and continuations; provides reference service for faculty, students, the Bar, and the public; teaches Advanced Legal Research; and provides outreach to libraries throughout the state.
Before coming to UNM, Marcia was a reference librarian at the Wake Forest University School of Law Professional Center Library. She has also worked at other academic, private, and public law libraries. Marcia is active in the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and is a member of the Southwestern Association of Law Libraries (SWALL). She has served on the AALL Government Relations and Placement Committees, as well as the Newsletter Committee of the Southeastern Chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (SEAALL).
